GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The Pledge of Allegiance occurred.
A moment of silence was observed.
Roll Call was taken by Treasurer Cockrell. All present.
The previous month’s general board minutes were read. A motion to accept the previous month’s minutes was made by Lori Warren. Second by Mike Hoffman. Motion passed.

UWUA Local 175- Local 175 sent a letter that it would be holding a seminar that celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Bill. It will be held on October 21, 2014. Arthur Mathews will be speaking at Sinclair Community College. Lori Warren made a motion to send Local 175 a check for $1000 to help with the cost of the event. Second by Randy Darby. Motion passed.
Arbitration #372- Discussion occurred about arbitration #372.
Picnic Committee- Discussion occurred about the annual picnic and how to improve it in the future.
Negotiations Committee- The Negotiations Committee will meet on September 18.
Power Plant Sale- On September 22, President Anderson and Vice President Warren met with the members affected by the sale of the power plants. Discussion occurred about this situation.
Cash Balance Conversion Rates- The rates for this year’s Cash Balance Conversion are located on the company portal.
New Senior Engineering Positions- Discussion occurred about the new positions that are being created.
Delegate Memering- She discussed how the company is adding extra duties to each position and that these extra duties are making it appear that our members may be less productive.
A motion to adjourn was made by Steve Kowolonek. Second by Lisa Webster. Motion passed.
