The Meeting was called to order by President Anderson.
The Pledge of Allegiance occurred.
A moment of Silence was observed for deceased members.
Roll Call was taken by Vice-President Kowolonek. Treasure Hoffman. All other board members present.
Previous months minutes were read by Secretary Wallace. A motion was made by Vice-President Kowolonek to accept the reading of the last months minutes. Second by Delegate Loerich. Motion passed.
A motion to dispense with the reading of the Financial Report was made by Vice-President Kowolonek. Second by Delegate Long. Motion passed. (Financial Report on file at Union Office.)

2018 AFL-CIO Labor Day Picnic flyer will be sent to post on union boards.

Follow-up call was made to Matt Darpel regarding union finances and options for portfolio. Matt Darpel has provided options for portfolio for best return on investments.
Dues Issues issues still surround this issue. Local 600 has received payment from one (1) Local 600 member to clear arrears.
New Corrosion Technician Management will contact and update technicians regarding changes, due to job evaluations conducted on 06-05-18.
Meter Reading President Anderson has processed and sent a letter to Management for information request, regarding letter dated 07-26-2018 from management.
Picnic Committee Delegate Long- Committee Chair, Treasure Hoffman Vice Chair, Delegate(s) Waller & Boykin Committee Members
Budget has been established and Flyers have been created to send via mailings to all Local 600 members. A cater has been selected. The venue has not been confirmed, committee will follow-up with President Anderson.
Grievance 3rd stage grievance Gas Department. Board vote not to process to arbitration.
President Anderson- Meter Reading two (2) grievances will update.
Call Center President Anderson, Vice-President Kowolonek and Delegate King attended Midwest Call Center Orientation. Delegate King to follow-up with management regarding initial class size and decreases.
Vice-President Kowolonek attended grievance regarding GIS Lead and Sr GIS Technologist, 07-24-18.
Grievance 2nd Stage Engineering Specialist
Posting of positions - Internal / External (issue with review of discipline as it applies to internal posting.)
Delegate Loerich discussed meter readers in Kentucky transfers to Ohio. Will schedule a meeting with management to discuss.
Delegate King SASS testing issue with administration of testing & delays that occurred. Local 600 members were allowed to re-test.
Vice-President Kowolonek made a motion to adjourn. Second by Delegate Boykin. Motion passed. Adjourned.
