The meeting was called to order by Vice President Warren.

The Pledge of Allegiance occurred.

A moment of silence was observed. 

Roll Call was taken by Treasurer Cockrell.  President Anderson and Delegate Wallace not present.

The previous month’s general board minutes were read.  A motion to accept the previous month’s minutes was made by Lisa Webster.  Second by Walt Dobbins.  Motion passed.

The Financial Report was presented by Treasurer Cockrell.  A motion to accept the Financial Report was made by Mike Hoffman.  Second by Randy Darby.  Motion Passed.


Arbitration #375 has been settled before arbitration.

Member to Member campaign- The Board would like to have a local will soon be entering into negotiations with the company.  Also, the Board would like to make each member aware that there is an upcoming picnic in September.  Discussion occurred about funding the Member to Member campaign.  Lori Warren made a motion to allocate $10,000 for the Member to Member Campaign.  Second by Randy Darby.  Motion passed.

Picnic Committee- The annual Local 600 Picnic will take place on Sept 12 at Hartwell.  After discussion, Mike Hoffman made a motion to allocate a budget of $9000 for this year’s picnic.  Second by Shirley Cockrell.  Motion passed.


Grievance #382- The Board was presented the facts involving grievance #382.  After discussion, the Board voted to take the grievance to arbitration.

Negotiations- Randy Darby made a motion to hire Labor Attorney Julie Ford to represent Local 600 in the upcoming negotiations.  Second by Steve Kowolonek.  Motion passed.


Delegate Memering-she informed the board of a new engineering technologist position. 

Treasurer Cockrell- she informed the Board that CPC’s will no longer be involved on the gas side of the business.

A motion to adjourn was made by Randy Darby.  Second by Lisa Webster.  Motion passed.
